What could be more satisfying (or glamorous!) than to design and make your own evening dress using your choice of beautiful fabric, trim and couture finishes. There are two different options for making patterns for evening wear (flat or draped) and the technique is often determined by your fabric and design choice.
SKILL LEVEL: advanced
This is an advanced class and students will need to have competed an Introductory Pattern Making class (Module 1) and Draping (Module 6. Depending ) on your sewing skills, you may also need to allow more time to perfect the techniques associated with (often tricky) eveningwear fabrics.

DRAPING MASTER CLASS
This class is run on Mondays and is available for Diploma of Fashion Design students as their final unit. It is also open as an advanced class for designers who are preparing their own collections. Please contact us directly to arrange an interview.
