In this introductory fashion illustration and technical drawing workshop, you'll learn:
How to choose and use the most effective drawing tools and materials.
Human proportion, scale and fashion figure drawing.
Techniques for illustrating movement, pose and perspective.
Colour theory, garment rendering and fabric texture.
Drawing composition, shading and presentation techniques.
Technical specification drawing and industry-standard communication methods used in fashion and apparel production.

What to Expect
This is a small, hands-on workshop with plenty of individual guidance and feedback from your tutor.
Suitable for beginners through to more experienced students, the class combines demonstrations, guided exercises and practical drawing activities designed to build confidence and skills progressively throughout the day.
You will work with graphite pencils, water-based coloured pencils and professional markers while learning a range of illustration and technical drawing techniques. A drawing kit is provided for student's to use during the workshop.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have completed a series of fashion illustrations and technical drawings, along with practical techniques you can continue to develop in your own design work.
